Sigma 70-300mm Sigma Lenses for Canon

The Sigma 70-300mm is a cost-effective solution for everyday photographers who want one lens that can shoot both macro and telephoto. Designed for Canon digital SLR cameras, this lens covers a broad range of shooting situations from sports, outdoor natural settings, and portraits to close-up macro shots like flowers, leaves, or fine architectural detail. Changeover from telephoto to macro is quick and easy with a simple switch.

Maximum magnification for close-ups is between 1:2.9 and 1:2, with focal lengths from 200mm to 300mm. There are multiple layers of coating that reduce ghost and flare, common issues in digital cameras. The macro lens has dependable and stable built-in color balance throughout the entire zoom range, and comes with a metal lens mount and a hood. It is a good choice for people who are new to macro photography or telephoto shooting, and want a lower priced lens.

Sigma 70-300mm Sigma Lenses for Canon Reviews

I am a high school student who recently took a photography course at school. Even though “I have always been a very creative person, photography is new to me. I have been looking around at different lenses for the Canon digital camera my parents got me for Christmas, and read about the Sigma 70-300mm lens in a photography magazine. First of all, I was excited to see that this lens doesn’t cost as much as a lot of the other good lenses for Canon cameras. I am still a beginner, so it seemed like the perfect lens for me because I can shoot both macro and telephoto shots with one lens. Right now I am shooting macro detail shots of everything I can find, trying to make them look abstract. I look forward to playing around with the telephoto settings soon, but I have been kind of a fanatic about this new lens and the macro shots. Sometimes I get so excited I can hardly sleep. Thank you, Sigma, for making an affordable lens for us non-professional photographers without a lot of money.

After I retired, I looked around for a hobby, and found my passion with photography. I have a Canon SLR digital camera, and have been exploring different things I could do with it.  After while I realized I needed a lens with a broader range of options, and after doing some research I found the Sigma 70-300mm macro telephoto zoom lens. It has opened my world to more all kinds of possibilities because I can shoot a macro shot  one minute, then flip the switch and shoot telephoto. This is the perfect lens for a person in my position because it is not too expensive and offers me zoom in both macro and telephoto, allowing me to play around and explore as I go for hikes.
